Solar Company in Madhya Pradesh — Sunvera Energy

Sunvera Energy is a Madhya Pradesh solar company headquartered at Pichhore in Shivpuri district, with further offices at Gwalior and Balaghat, registered on the PM Surya Ghar portal and installing on-grid, hybrid and off-grid solar across 12 MP districts from Gwalior to Anuppur. Homeowners pay about ₹2,00,000 for a 3 kW system before the ₹78,000 central subsidy, and the company handles the MPMKVVCL or MPPKVVCL net-metering application in full.

Why Madhya Pradesh is one of India's best states for rooftop solar

Madhya Pradesh sits in the high-irradiance belt of central India, receiving 5.5–6 kWh per square metre per day of solar energy. In practice that means a well-installed 1 kW rooftop system in Shivpuri, Gwalior or Bhopal produces about 1,500 units a year — roughly 15 per cent more than the same system in Delhi or Kolkata. The state also hosts the 750 MW Rewa Ultra Mega Solar park and the Omkareshwar floating solar plant, and the MP Renewable Energy Policy 2022 sets a target of 20 GW of renewable capacity, with rooftop solar explicitly encouraged through net metering for systems up to 500 kW.

For a household, the arithmetic is simple: a 3 kW system producing 4,500 units a year replaces a bill of ₹2,000–2,700 a month, and with the central subsidy the net investment of about ₹1,22,000 is recovered in roughly four years.

Net metering in Madhya Pradesh — MPMKVVCL and MPPKVVCL

Madhya Pradesh has three distribution companies, and which one handles your net meter depends on where you live:

  • MPMKVVCL (Madhya Kshetra) — Bhopal, Gwalior, Shivpuri, Guna, Datia, Ashoknagar and the rest of the Gwalior-Chambal and Bhopal regions.
  • MPPKVVCL (Poorv Kshetra) — Jabalpur, Balaghat, Shahdol, Umaria, Anuppur, Dindori and the Mahakoshal–Vindhya region.
  • MPPKVVCL (Paschim Kshetra) — Indore and the Malwa region.

Under the MPERC net-metering regulations, residential consumers can install rooftop systems up to their sanctioned load (and up to 500 kW overall). Surplus units exported during the day are credited against units imported at night, settled on the monthly bill, with any annual surplus paid at the DISCOM's approved rate. The application is filed online on the DISCOM portal and the PM Surya Ghar national portal; Sunvera Energy prepares and submits it, attends the DISCOM inspection and arranges the bi-directional meter. Typical processing time is three to six weeks.

Solar solutions for Madhya Pradesh homes, farms and businesses

Homes

On-grid 2–5 kW systems with the PM Surya Ghar subsidy. Most MP homes with a ₹2,000–3,000 bill need 3 kW; a home with two air conditioners needs 5 kW.

Farms

Madhya Pradesh is India's largest soybean and a major wheat producer, and irrigation pumping is the biggest rural electricity load. Sunvera installs 3–10 HP solar water pumps and off-grid systems for farms in the Shivpuri, Guna and Balaghat belts.

Businesses and institutions

Shops, hospitals, schools, hotels and rice mills on commercial tariffs of ₹8–11 per unit see the fastest payback. The Balaghat rice-mill belt, Guna's mandi warehouses and Gwalior's hospital cluster are typical commercial projects.

Industry

Rooftop plants of 50–500 kW for factories at Malanpur (Gwalior), Mandideep (Bhopal) and Vijaipur (Guna), with accelerated depreciation and open-access options.

How to choose a solar company in Madhya Pradesh — a five-point check

Rooftop solar is a 25-year purchase, and the installer matters more than the panel brand. Before signing with any solar company in Madhya Pradesh, check these five things:

  1. PM Surya Ghar registration — ask for the vendor's registration on the national portal. Without it, your subsidy application cannot be filed. Sunvera Energy is registered, and so is its partner Anshul Vanguard India Pvt Ltd.
  2. Brands in writing — the quotation must name the panel, inverter, cable and structure make and model. "Tier-1 equivalent" is not a brand.
  3. A physical office — a company you can visit in Shivpuri, Gwalior, Balaghat or your own district will still be reachable in year eight when an inverter needs service.
  4. Who files the DISCOM paperwork — the net-metering application, inspection and meter follow-up should be the installer's job, included in the price, not a "liaison charge".
  5. Generation estimate and warranty terms — expect a written monthly generation figure for your district and clear warranty periods: 25 years panel performance, 10–12 years product, 5–10 years inverter.

Sunvera Energy puts all five in every proposal. If another quotation is cheaper, compare it on these points before deciding.
