Sunvera Energy installs rooftop solar panel systems across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh as a PM Surya Ghar registered EPC company: a 3 kW on-grid home system costs about ₹2,00,000 and a 5 kW system about ₹3,00,000 before the central subsidy of up to ₹78,000, and the same team handles survey, design, installation, DISCOM net metering and the subsidy claim. We work from two offices — the head office at Pichhore in Shivpuri district and a branch at Balaghat — and serve 22 districts from Gwalior to Kondagaon.
What a rooftop solar installation includes
A complete rooftop solar installation is more than panels on a roof. The system Sunvera Energy designs and installs has six parts, and each one affects how much electricity you actually get over 25 years.
- Solar panels — mono-PERC or TOPCon modules from Waaree, Adani or Tata, 540–580 Wp each. A 3 kW system uses 5–6 panels and needs about 300 sq ft of shade-free roof.
- Inverter — converts DC from the panels to AC for your home. On-grid systems use a grid-tied string inverter; hybrid systems add battery charging.
- Mounting structure — hot-dip galvanised iron, engineered for the wind loads of central India and tilted 20–25° to the south for the best annual output.
- Cabling and protection — DC and AC cabling from Polycab/Havells, DC and AC distribution boxes, surge protection, earthing and a lightning arrester.
- Bi-directional net meter — installed by the DISCOM (MPMKVVCL, MPPKVVCL or CSPDCL depending on your district) so surplus power exported to the grid is credited against your bill.
- Monitoring — the inverter reports daily generation to a phone app so you and our service team can see at once if output drops.
Everything is supplied, installed and commissioned by Sunvera's own team under one EPC contract — there is no separate electrician, structure vendor or DISCOM agent to chase. That single-contract model is what makes solar panel installation in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh through Sunvera predictable: one survey, one quotation, one phone number.
Solar panel installation cost in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh
Prices below are Sunvera Energy's typical installed cost for an on-grid residential system with tier-1 panels. The final quotation depends on roof type, cable run and structure height, which is why we survey before quoting.
| System size | Monthly bill it suits | Approx. installed price | PM Surya Ghar subsidy | Net cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 kW | ₹1,200–1,800 | ₹1,40,000–1,50,000 | ₹60,000 | ≈ ₹85,000 |
| 3 kW | ₹2,000–2,700 | ≈ ₹2,00,000 | ₹78,000 | ≈ ₹1,22,000 |
| 5 kW | ₹3,500–4,500 | ≈ ₹3,00,000 | ₹78,000 (capped) | ≈ ₹2,22,000 |
| 10 kW (commercial) | ₹7,000–9,000 | ₹5,50,000–6,00,000 | not applicable | ₹5,50,000–6,00,000 |
Commercial and industrial plants above 10 kW are priced per kW and fall as capacity rises; a 50 kW industrial rooftop typically lands between ₹45,000 and ₹50,000 per kW. Businesses can also claim accelerated depreciation on the asset.
Residential customers can finance the net amount through HDFC Bank, SBI, PNB or Bank of Baroda; with a 7-year loan the EMI is usually lower than the electricity bill the system replaces.
How the installation process works — 10 steps
From the first call to the first subsidy credit, a residential installation in Madhya Pradesh or Chhattisgarh takes four to eight weeks. Most of that time is DISCOM processing, not installation work, which is done in one to two days.
- Consultation — share your last three electricity bills so we can size the system to your actual consumption.
- Site survey — an engineer measures the roof, checks shading, structure and the meter position. Free in all 22 service districts.
- System design — panel layout, inverter selection and a written generation estimate for your location.
- Proposal — itemised quotation with brand names, warranties, subsidy amount and finance options.
- Documentation — PM Surya Ghar portal registration, Aadhaar, electricity bill, roof ownership proof and bank details.
- Installation — structure, panels, inverter, cabling and earthing, normally completed in 1–2 working days.
- Testing — insulation, earthing and generation tests; you receive the commissioning report.
- Net metering — DISCOM inspection and bi-directional meter installation (MPMKVVCL/MPPKVVCL in MP, CSPDCL in Chhattisgarh).
- Subsidy — commissioning uploaded to the portal; the central subsidy is credited to your bank account, typically within 30 days.
- After-sales support — generation monitoring, cleaning guidance and AMC options from the nearest Sunvera office.
On-grid, off-grid or hybrid — which installation is right for you?
The right system depends on how reliable your grid supply is and whether you need power during cuts.
On-grid (grid-tied)
The lowest cost per kW and the only type eligible for the PM Surya Ghar subsidy. Panels feed your load during the day and export surplus through the net meter; at night you draw from the grid. It switches off during a power cut for safety. Right for most homes, shops, offices and schools in towns with stable supply.
Hybrid
An on-grid system plus a battery bank. You still get net-metering credits, but critical loads keep running through outages with a changeover under 20 milliseconds. Right for hospitals, clinics, resorts and homes in areas with frequent cuts — Kondagaon, Dindori and the Bandhavgarh resort belt are typical hybrid markets.
Off-grid
No grid connection at all; the battery carries the night load. Used for farmhouses, remote sites and solar water pumps. Not subsidised under PM Surya Ghar but eligible under PM-KUSUM for pumps.
Sunvera Energy installs all three and will tell you plainly which one your site needs — a hybrid system costs 40–60 per cent more than on-grid and is only worth it where outages are a real problem.
Where we install
Sunvera Energy works from four offices — the head office at Rannod Road, Bijasen Mandir Colony, Pichhore (Shivpuri district); Kampoo, Idgah, Nagar Nigam Market, Gwalior; Ward No. 28, Saraswati Nagar, Balaghat; and Nutan Chowk, Seepat Road, Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh. From these bases we serve:
- Madhya Pradesh — Shivpuri, Pichhore, Guna, Gwalior, Datia, Ashoknagar, Bhopal, Balaghat, Umaria, Dindori, Shahdol and Anuppur.
- Chhattisgarh — Bilaspur, Korba, Koriya, Surajpur, Janjgir-Champa, Mungeli, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur, Kondagaon and Baloda Bazar.
Completed work includes a 75 kW warehouse rooftop in Bilaspur, a 10 kW hybrid system for a hospital in Gwalior, and residential and commercial systems across the Gwalior-Chambal and Mahakoshal regions. If your district is not listed, call us — we take on projects outside this list case by case.
Why choose Sunvera Energy for your installation
- Registered, not just "authorised" — Sunvera Energy is itself registered on the PM Surya Ghar national portal, and also works with its partner Anshul Vanguard India Pvt Ltd under the scheme, so your subsidy application is filed under a recognised vendor.
- Named components — every quotation states the panel, inverter and cable brand. No "tier-1 equivalent" wording.
- Local service — four offices (Pichhore, Gwalior, Balaghat, Bilaspur) mean a technician, not a call centre, within a day for most districts.
- Complete EPC — audit, design, installation, net metering, subsidy and AMC under one contract and one phone number: +91 77103 07937. Solar panel installation in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh does not need four vendors; it needs one accountable one.
- Honest sizing — we size to your bills, not to the subsidy cap. A family that needs 2 kW is quoted 2 kW.
Frequently Asked Questions
A 3 kW on-grid rooftop system from Sunvera Energy costs about ₹2,00,000 installed and a 5 kW system about ₹3,00,000, before the PM Surya Ghar subsidy of up to ₹78,000. The net cost for a 3 kW system is therefore roughly ₹1,22,000. Prices include panels, inverter, structure, cabling, installation, net-metering paperwork and commissioning.
The physical installation of a residential system takes one to two working days. The full process — survey, DISCOM application, installation, inspection, net meter and subsidy credit — usually takes four to eight weeks in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, most of it DISCOM processing time rather than site work.
Yes. Sunvera Energy is registered on the PM Surya Ghar national portal as an EPC vendor and also works with its registered partner Anshul Vanguard India Pvt Ltd. Either way, your application is filed under a vendor the scheme recognises, which is a condition for receiving the subsidy.
About 300 square feet of shade-free roof. A 3 kW system uses five or six 540–580 Wp panels, each roughly 7.5 ft by 3.7 ft, mounted on a tilted structure. Flat RCC roofs, sloped tin sheds and even ground mounts can all be used; the survey confirms the best layout for your building.
An on-grid system switches off during a cut for the safety of linemen working on the grid. If you need backup, a hybrid system with a battery keeps selected loads running — fans, lights, a refrigerator, a clinic's equipment — through the outage, while still giving you net-metering credits on normal days.
Panels from Waaree, Adani and Tata, with inverters, cables and switchgear from Havells, Polycab and Involtics. Every quotation names the exact brand and model, and panels carry a 25-year performance warranty with a 10–12 year product warranty.
Written generation estimate, exact price after subsidy and bank-finance options — no obligation.
